Paolo Bisol è ancora saldamente al timone della cantina Ruggeri. Durante una bella visita nei migliori vigneti del Cartizze ci ha raccontato la storia della zona di Valdobbiadene, a memoria d’uomo dal dopo guerra ad oggi e storicamente sin dal 1500.
L’amore per queste terre e la voglia di competere con piglio ed energia anche per il futuro traspare distintamente nella vigoria di uno dei personaggi che hanno contribuito al successo mondiale del Prosecco. Complimenti!
I 100 conferitori della cantina sono in massima parte a Valdobbiadene. Tra i vari progetti portati avanti da Paolo insieme all’agronomo Tognon e all’enologo Fabio Roversi, da menzionare la cura dei 6 crù disposti nei migliori versanti che danno vita al Giustino B e le viti, anche ultra centenarie per nulla decrepite, che danno l’ottimo risultato del Vecchie Viti. Per valorizzare sempre più i vigneti e il loro sistema di conduzione si sta lavorando alla certificazione SQNPI Sistema di Qualità Nazionale di Produzione Integrata.
Non sorprende la costante e altissima qualità dei vini presentati perché la classe non è acqua.
La storia è la loro forza.
Uno sguardo alla cantina
L’Extra Dry Giustino B. 2018 è ormai un mito, un gigante, dagli aromi netti e caratteristici. Al palato in perfetto equilibrio fra gusto e freschezza.
Altro classico il Brut Vecchie Viti 2018, che unisce la croccantezza di frutto alla bocca vellutata, cremosa con un lungo finale minerale saporito.
Elegante il Cartizze Dry Superiore, la dolcezza del frutto unita alla beva morbida con chiusura asciutta.
Correda il quadro aromatico con una bella pera croccante il Extra Dry Giall’Oro, dalla fresca cremosità.
Ottimi ed esemplari il Cartizze Brut e il Santo Stefano Dry.

The visits to the wineries between May and July 2019 by Michele Marchi
Paolo Bisol is still firmly at the helm of the Ruggeri winery.
During a nice visit in the best vineyards of Cartizze he told us the history of the Valdobbiadene area, in human memory from the post-war years until nowadays and historically since the 1500s.
The love for these lands and the desire to compete with attitude and energy also for the future it transpires distinctly in the vigor of one of the characters who contributed to the worldwide success of Prosecco. Congratulations!
The 100 producers of the winery are mostly in Valdobbiadene.
Among the various projects carried out by Paolo together with the agronomist Tognon and the oenologist Fabio Roversi, a special mention should be made on the care of the 6 crus arranged in the best sides that give life to Giustino B and the vines, also some of which are centenarian not decrepit at all, which give the excellent result of the Vecchie Viti. To further enhance the vineyards and their management system, they are working to obtain the SQNPI National Quality System of Integrated Production (Italian System of Quality Integrated Production) certificate.
It is not surprising the constant and very high quality of the wines presented, because you cannot buy class.
History is their strength.
A look at the wine cellar
The Extra Dry Giustino B. 2018 is now a myth, a giant, with clear and characteristic aromas. On the palate is in a perfect balance between taste and freshness.
Another classic is the Brut Vecchie Viti 2018, which combines the fruit crunchiness with the velvety, creamy mouth with a long, tasty mineral finish.
Elegant the Cartizze Dry Superiore, the sweetness of the fruit combined with a soft drink with a dry closure.
The aromatic framework with a beautiful crunchy pear is completed by the Extra Dry Giall’Oro, with its fresh creaminess.
The Cartizze Brut and the Santo Stefano Dry are excellent and exemplary.
