Sono uno dei degustatori Slow Wine, nello specifico del Veneto
Siamo un gruppo affiatato di circa una decina di persone che, soprattutto durante la primavera e il periodo estivo, è indaffarato con visite alle aziende, con degustazioni alla cieca e con la redazione della nuova guida Slow Wine per l’anno successivo; in questo periodo per quella del 2020.
Visitiamo personalmente TUTTE le aziende per le quali compiliamo le schede che verranno poi inserite nella guida.
Andiamo a parlare con tutti i vignaioli e produttori da recensire; siamo gli unici a farlo, nessun’altra guida di vini lo fa e ne siamo orgogliosi.
Vediamo proviamo e camminiamo.
Camminiamo nei vigneti di ogni produttore, ci rendiamo conto di come si prende cura dei terreni, della vigna e dell’ambiente circostante.
Visitiamo la cantina e alla fine degustiamo i vini con i produttori che ci raccontano, per ogni vino, una storia diversa; ogni anno con le variabili della natura, positive e negative che siano.
Insomma niente di noioso e ripetitivo perché ogni stagione è a se stante e variabile.
Being Slow Wine tasters
I am one of the Slow Wine tasters, specifically in the Veneto region.
We are a close-knit group of about ten people who, especially during spring and summer, are busy with visits to wineries, blind tastings and the editing of the new Slow Wine guide for the following year; in this period for the 2020 guide.
We personally visit ALL the wineries for which we fill in the forms included in the guide.
We talk to all the winemakers and producers that we’ll review; we are the only ones to do that, no other wine guide does it and we are very proud of it.
We visit in person, we taste and we walk.
We walk in the vineyards of each producer, we realize how he/she takes care of the land, of the vineyard and of the surrounding environment.
We visit the winery and, at the end, we taste the wines with the producers who tell us, for each wine, a different story; each year with the variables of the nature, both positive and negative.
In the end, nothing boring and repetitive since each season is in itself independent and variable.
