Tanti anni fa, dopo che i miei nonni, col clinton, mi avevano instradato al mondo del vino, pensai che forse non ne sapevo a sufficienza e non sapendo a chi chiedere lumi partecipai al corso per sommelier AIS che per me fu decisamente importante.
Mi resi conto che era solo l’inizio di un lungo, forse interminabile cammino, di questo ho avuto la certezza in molti anni da bevitore.
Come Socrate (ma molto, molto, molto rispettosamente) “so di non sapere”.
Può sembrare poco e banale, ma capire che c’è sempre qualcosa da scoprire è l’aspetto determinante per capirne qualcosina in più.
Chi fa il tuttologo è out!
M’impegnerò a fondo perché questo rimanga il filo conduttore di tutto ciò che leggerete su G&RW.
Curious and friendly drinker
Many years ago, after my grandparents had introduced me to the world of wine, with clinton, I realized that maybe I didn’t know enough about it and not knowing who to ask for help I decided to attend the AIS sommelier course, which was certainly very important for me.
I understood that it was just the beginning of a long, perhaps interminable journey, which I am now aware after many years as a wine drinker.
Like Socrates (and I make this comparison very, very, very respectfully) “I know that I know nothing”.
It may seem trivial, but to understand that there is always something new to discover is the decisive aspect to understand a little bit more.
Whoever is a “know-it-all” is out!
I will work hard to ensure that this remains the central theme of everything you will read on G&RW.
